Changing the Viewport
Most tabs in RPR Viewer have a “viewer” area which is a live rendered view of the data. This view can be controlled with the camera controls which can be either Maya style or Inventor style. You can switch between these two styles for the camera controls in Menu > Settings > Camera style, as shown in the video below.
If the Maya style is chosen for the camera controls:
Holding down the wheel button and the Alt key, move the mouse in the direction you want to pan, thus moving the camera either horizontally (when your mouse moves to the left/right) or vertically (when it moves forward/backward) while maintaining the camera direction. Release the wheel button to stop panning;
Holding down the left mouse button and the Alt key, rotate your assembly as you would rotate it in Maya, i.e. maintaining the vertical axis: drag to achieve the desired rotation.
Holding down the left mouse button and the Alt key, move your mouse forward/backward to zoom in/out.
Roll the wheel forward to zoom out, and roll back to zoom in (i.e. the opposite way as compared to the Inventor style controls).
F key. This button is the view focus. You can set the focus on the selected object.
If the Inventor style is chosen for the camera controls:
Holding down the wheel button, move the mouse in the direction you want to pan, thus moving the camera either horizontally (when your mouse moves to the left/right) or vertically (when it moves forward/backward) while maintaining the camera direction. Release the wheel button to stop panning;
Holding down the wheel button and the Shift key, rotate your assembly as you would rotate it in Inventor: drag to achieve the desired rotation.
Roll the wheel forward to zoom in, and roll back to zoom out.
F key. This button is the view focus. You can set the focus on the selected object.
Also, in the upper left part of the Live view, there is a camera selection for left, top and front views.
