Machine Learning
The Machine Learning is an AI-accelerated filter that has been trained on large data sets. It uses deep machine learning to remove noise from rendered images.

Color Only/Color + AOVs
The Color Only option activates the simplified denoiser model. The simplified model takes into account only the color input and disregards all other inputs, such as the normal, depth and albedo. Choosing this option may help if colors in the denoised image look flawed or distorted. It also should take less memory and be faster.
The Color + AOVs option takes into account not only color, but additional inputs for denoising. In some scenes, the extra information will yield better results.
16-Bit Denoiser
In the Color Only mode, you can instruct the denoiser to use less memory and thus make the denoising process faster. Select the Enable 16 bit denoiser option to decrease the amount of memory by half (default is 32 bit).
Limitations
To be run on GPU, the ML filter requires Windows OS. Otherwise, the denoiser will switch to its CPU-based mode.
